Is Your Student Applying to College in the Fall?

Get It Done is a four–day program that helps students who are applying to college in the fall complete their applications.

Over the course of the four–day Get It Done program, students will work to complete their Common Applications, their primary college essays, and any additional supplemental essays. Students receive one-to-one feedback on their applications each day from the Get It Done faculty.

Meet the Get It Done Team!

Get It Done is led by Alison Furey Nowicki, PhD, and Rebecca Britten Loprete, PhD. Alison Nowicki has been a guidance counselor at Concord – Carlisle High School since 2004 and has served as the Guidance Department Chair since 2009. Bee Loprete has been an English teacher at CCHS since 2000 and chaired the English Department from 2008 – 2012.

Both Alison and Bee work closely with high school seniors throughout the school year: Alison helps students to refine and narrow their college choices, and Bee helps students  to craft and edit their college essays and supplements.

College Essay Coaching
Since 2000, Bee has been an English teacher at Concord-Carlisle High School and served as department chair. Every spring at CCHS, Bee leads a college essay workshop for her juniors, and every fall she works individually with her seniors on their writing submissions.

Alison

CCHS Guidance Department Chair
Raised in Concord, Alison is a CCHS alumnus who graduated from Williams College in 1999. She earned her doctorate in educational leadership from Northeastern University in 2015.
